The Damdami Taksal, revered as a bastion of warriors, has witnessed numerous acts of exemplary sacrifice by devoted Gursikhs throughout various epochs of Sikh history. During the tumultuous period of the Sikh struggle, the Singhs of Taksal valiantly laid down their lives in Operation Blue Star in June ’84. Subsequently, they continued to embrace martyrdom in the relentless strife against oppressive regimes. Within this cadre of valiant Shaheed Singhs in the current struggle, the distinguished name of Shaheed Bhai Harjinder Singh Jinda of village Thakar Sandhu resonates profoundly.
Birth and Family
Shaheed Bhai Harjinder Singh Thakar Sandhu took his first breath in the village of Thakar Sandhu, nestled within the Gurdaspur district, born to Harbhajan Singh and Savinder Kaur Ji. Bhai Sahib was a part of a family of five siblings, including his elder brother Gurmeet Singh, younger sisters Gurmeet Kaur and Ranjit Kaur, and brother Tarlok Singh.
Marriage
In 1983, Bhai Harjinder Singh entered into matrimony with Bibi Charanjit Kaur, the daughter of Sardar Khajan Singh from Talwandi Jhunglan (near Batala). Bhai Sahib and Bibi Charanjit Kaur were blessed with a daughter named Gurjit Kaur, who leads a deeply devoted Gursikh life. The union of Bhai Sahib and Bibi Charanjit Kaur was arranged through the auspices of the Damdami Taksal Jatha.
Joining the Damdami Taksal
Since his early years, Bhai Harjinder Singh Thakar Sandhu exhibited a strong religious inclination. His encounter with the Damdami Taksal in 1980 marked a pivotal moment as he embraced the Amrit ceremony, becoming a devout Gursikh. Subsequently, Bhai Sahib guided his entire family towards the path of Amritdhari, partaking in the Amrit ceremony administered by the Panj Piyare, the whole family got Amritdhari. Bhai Sahib was a devotee of Gurbani and used to read the words of Gurbani all the time. Much like his fellow Singhs from the Taksal, Bhai Sahib actively contributed to the Dharam Yudh Morcha, serving a period of six months in Faridkot Jail. Even during his Jail time, he exhibited unwavering Chardikala and fervently spread the message of Gurbani among fellow prisoners.
Post-June 84
Following the events of Operation Blue Star in June 1984, while Bhai Sahib remained in his village, he grew increasingly perturbed by the state of affairs in Punjab and deeply incensed by the actions of the Government. It was during this tumultuous period that Bhai Wasan Singh Zafarwal and Bhai Tarsem Singh Kohar, long-standing friends from Darbar Sahib Amritsar and the Dharam Yudh Morcha, connected with him. These Singhs were engaged in an armed struggle against the Government, aiming to establish a Free Sikh State. Quietly, Bhai Harjinder Singh joined Kharoo Singhs. However, their secrecy was compromised when the police received information, leading to subsequent raids. Following this, Bhai Sahib assumed the role of a gunman, aligning himself with Baba Thakur Singh Ji, and took up residence at the headquarters of the Damdami Taksal in Mehta.
Arrest
In 1986, Bhai Sahib faced arrest at his father-in-law’s village, Talwandi Jhunglan (near Batala), by the Punjab Police. Subsequently, he endured a three-year incarceration spanning Gurdaspur, Nabha, and Sangrur Jails, charged with possession of explosives. It wasn’t until 1989 that he was granted release on bail, and later, the court acquitted him of all accusations.
Police Harassment
Following his acquittal, the Punjab police persistently conducted house raids in an attempt to arrest Bhai Sahib. Faced with this relentless harassment, he found it increasingly difficult to reside in his own home. Consequently, he chose to permanently live in the service of Baba Thakur Singh Ji. With a profound love for Gurbani, Bhai Sahib dedicated himself to reciting Gurbani, a duty entrusted to him by Baba Thakur Singh Ji. Baba Ji listens to Gurbani from him every day. Meanwhile, Bhai Sahib’s wife, Charanjit Kaur, also resided in Mehta Gurdwara Sahib. Despite this, the police continued their harassment of Bhai Sahib’s family.
Shaheedi –24 January 1993
In 1993, a series of police crackdowns led to the martyrdom of many prominent Kharku leaders. On January 22, 1993, Baba Thakur Singh Ji was en route from Sri Amritsar Sahib to Mehta Sahib Gurudwara Gurdarshan Parkash. The police from Mehta station halted the Jatha near village Nangli and removed Bhai Harjinder Singh from the Damdami Taksal bus while he was reciting Gurbani to Baba Thakur Singh. Despite the police’s assurance of releasing him after a brief questioning, they instead handed over Harjinder Singh Thakar Sandhu to the Dhariwal Police. Bhai Harjinder Singh underwent severe police torture as they sought information about the Kharku Singhs. When their attempts to extract information failed, Swaran Singh, the Station House Officer (SHO) of Dhariwal police station, falsely claimed a police encounter and martyred Bhai Sahib on January 24, 1993.
Police Propaganda News
The Punjab Police spread a false story about Harjinder Singh Thakkar Sandhu’s death in a police encounter, disseminating a fabricated account to newspapers:
Headline: “One militant killed, home guard injured: Jalandhar, 25 January 1993 (via agencies and correspondents) – Within the last 24 hours, a militant was reportedly killed in an encounter in Punjab, while a home guard jawan sustained injuries.”
“Harjinder Singh Jinda, a purported militant of the Khalistan Liberation Army, met his demise near town Dhariwal in the Gurdaspur district while the police were allegedly escorting him to recover weapons. According to the police, Harjinder Singh Jinda was killed during a confrontation with militants. He met his demise while attempting to escape amidst mutual gunfire confusion. As per PTI reports, Jinda held a senior position in the Khalistan Liberation Army and served as a bodyguard to Baba Thakur Singh Ji. Allegedly involved in 50 murder cases, the police believed he received orders from the Khalistan Liberation Army’s leader to carry out bombings on Republic Day. It was claimed that he facilitated the transportation of weapons for the Panthic Committee (Zafarwal).”
A Fabricated Tale
According to the police narrative, Bhai Harjinder Singh was implicated in 50 cases within a mere 2 days. Even if the police could file a case and put him behind bars, ultimately, he would have been released. However, Sikhs were unlikely to receive justice within India’s legal system. Thousands of Sikhs fell victim to unjustified police encounters aimed at securing promotions for the officers. Similarly, the police officers responsible for Bhai Harjinder Singh Thakkar Sandhu’s death may have been rewarded with promotions from the government, adding to the injustice.
For Bhai Sahib’s Antim Ardaas, the Bhog ceremony of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji’s Sri Akhand Path Sahib Ji took place at Gurdwara Gurdarshan Prakash Mehta, with a large number of Sangat attending.

ਦਮਦਮੀ ਟਕਸਾਲ ਇਕ ਯੋਧਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਖਾਣ ਅਖਵਾਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਸਦੇ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਗੁਰਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਨੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਦੇ ਵੱਖ ਵੱਖ ਸਮੇਂ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਮਿਸਾਲੀ ਕੁਰਬਾਨੀਆਂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ। ਮੌਜੂਦਾ ਸਿੱਖ ਸੰਘਰਸ਼ ਵਿਚ ਵੀ ਟਕਸਾਲ ਦੇ ਸਿੰਘਾਂ ਨੇ ਜਿਥੇ ਜੂਨ 84 ਦੇ ਘਲੂਘਾਰੇ ਵਿਚ ਜੂਝਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਸ਼ਹੀਦੀਆਂ ਪਾਈਆਂ ਉਥੇ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਚਲੇ ਸੰਘਰਸ਼ ਵਿਚ ਵੀ ਜ਼ਾਲਮ ਸਰਕਾਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਲੋਹਾ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਸ਼ਹੀਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤੀ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਮੌਜੂਦਾ ਸੰਘਰਸ਼ ਦੇ ਟਕਸਾਲੀ ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਸਿੰਘਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਇਕ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਤਿਕਾਰਤ ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜੁੜਦਾ ਹੈ – ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਭਾਈ ਹਰਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਜਿੰਦਾ ਪਿੰਡ ਠੱਕਰ ਸੰਧੂ।
ਜਨਮ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ
ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਭਾਈ ਹਰਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਠੱਕਰ ਸੰਧੂ ਦਾ ਜਨਮ ਪਿਤਾ ਸ: ਹਰਭਜਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਮਾਤਾ ਸਵਿੰਦਰ ਕੌਰ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਕੁੱਖੋਂ ਪਿੰਡ ਠੱਕਰ ਸੰਧੂ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਗੁਰਦਾਸਪੁਰ ਵਿਚ ਹੋਇਆ । ਭਾਈ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਪੰਜ ਭੈਣ ਭਰਾ ਸਨ, ਆਪ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡੇ ਭਰਾ ਗੁਰਮੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਤੇ ਛੋਟੇ ਭੈਣ ਗੁਰਮੀਤ ਕੌਰ, ਰਣਜੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਅਤੇ ਭਰਾ ਤਰਲੋਕ ਸਿੰਘ ਹਨ।
ਅਨੰਦ ਕਾਰਜ
ਭਾਈ ਹਰਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਦਾ ਅਨੰਦ ਕਾਰਜ ਸੰਨ 1983 ‘ਚ ਬੀਬੀ ਚਰਨਜੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਪੁਤਰੀ ਸਰਦਾਰ ਖ਼ਜਾਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਵਾਸੀ ਤਲਵੰਡੀ ਝੁੰਗਲਾਂ (ਨੇੜੇ ਬਟਾਲਾ) ਨਾਲ ਹੋਈ। ਆਪ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਇਕ ਪੁਤਰੀ ਗੁਰਜੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਵਿਚਾਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਹੈ। ਆਪ ਦਾ ਅਨੰਦ ਕਾਰਜ ਦਮਦਮੀ ਟਕਸਾਲ ਜਥੇ ਨੇ ਹੀ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਸੀ।
ਦਮਦਮੀ ਟਕਸਾਲ
ਭਾਈ ਹਰਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਚਪਨ ਤੋਂ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਵਿਚਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਨ। 1980 ‘ਚ ਦਮਦਮੀ ਟਕਸਾਲ ਦੇ ਸੰਪਰਕ ‘ਚ ਆਏ,ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਪਾਨ ਕਰਕੇ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਰੂਪ ਵਿਚ ਪਰਪੱਕ ਹੋਏ । ਸਾਰੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਪੰਜਾਂ ਪਿਆਰਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਖੰਡੇ ਬਾਟੇ ਦਾ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਛਕਾ ਕੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਲੜ ਲਾਇਆ । ਆਪ ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਦੇ ਰਸੀਏ ਸਨ, ਹਰ ਵੇਲੇ ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਪੜ੍ਹਦੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਸਨ । ਆਪ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਟਕਸਾਲ ਵਿਚ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਜੀਵਨ ਧਰਮ ਯੁੱਧ ਮੋਰਚੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ 6 ਮਹੀਨੇ ਫਰੀਦਕੋਟ ਜੇਲ੍ਹ ਵੀ ਕੱਟੀ।
ਜੂਨ 84 ਘਲੂਘਾਰੇ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ
ਜੂਨ 1984 ਦੇ ਘਲੂਘਾਰੇ ਵੇਲੇ ਆਪ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਠੱਕਰ ਸੰਧੂ ਸਨ ਤੇ ਪਰੇਸ਼ਾਨ ਰਹਿਣ ਲੱਗੇ। ਇਨ੍ਹੀਂ ਦਿਨੀਂ ਭਾਈ ਵੱਸਣ ਸਿੰਘ ਜਫਰਵਾਲ ਤੇ ਭਾਈ ਤਰਸੇਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਕੋਹਾੜ ਨਾਲ ਮੇਲ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ। ਖਾਲਸਾ ਪੰਥ ਦੀ ਚੜ੍ਹਦੀ ਕਲਾ ਲਈ ਗੁਪਤ ਰੂਪ ਵਿਚ ਵਿਚਰਨ ਲੱਗੇ । ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਸੂਹ ਲੱਗ ਗਈ ਤੇ ਛਾਪੇ ਮਾਰਨ ਲੱਗ ਪਈ। ਆਪ ਬਾਬਾ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਗੰਨਮੈਨ ਤੌਰ ‘ਤੇ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਮਹਿਤਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਰਹਿਣ ਲੱਗੇ।
ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰੀ
ਭਾਈ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੂੰ ਸਹੁਰੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਤਲਵੰਡੀ ਝੁੰਗਲਾਂ (ਨੇੜੇ ਬਟਾਲਾ) ਤੋਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ 1986 ‘ਚ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਅਸਲਾ ਬੰਬ ਰੱਖਣ ਦੇ ਕੇਸ ਪਾ ਕੇ, ਗੁਰਦਾਸਪੁਰ, ਨਾਭਾ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਗਰੂਰ ਜੇਲ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਤਿੰਨ ਸਾਲ ਬੰਦ ਰੱਖਿਆ। ਜ਼ਮਾਨਤ ‘ਤੇ ਰਿਹਾਈ ਹੋਈ, ਅਦਾਲਤ ਨੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਕੇਸਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਬਰੀ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
ਪੁਲਿਸ ਤਸ਼ੱਦਦ
ਅਦਾਲਤ ‘ਚੋਂ ਬਰੀ ਹੋਣ ‘ਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਘਰ ਛਾਪੇ ਮਾਰਨ ਲੱਗੀ। ਘਰ ਟਿਕਣ ਨਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਤੇ ਫਿਰ ਬਾਬਾ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਵਿਚ ਪੱਕੇ ਤੌਰ ‘ਤੇ ਨਾਲ ਰਹਿਣ ਲੱਗੇ। ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਪਾਠ, ਬੜੇ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਨਾਲ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ, ਬਾਬਾ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਪਾਠ ਸੁਣਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਡਿਊਟੀ ਲੱਗੀ ਸੀ। ਆਪ ਦੀ ਸਿੰਘਣੀ ਚਰਨਜੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਵੀ ਮਹਿਤਾ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਹੀ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਸਨ। ਘਰ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਤੰਗ ਕਰਦੀ ਸੀ।
22 ਜਨਵਰੀ 1993 ਨੂੰ ਬਾਬਾ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਤੋਂ ਮਹਿਤਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਗੁਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਆ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ। ਪਿੰਡ ਨੰਗਲੀ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਮਹਿਤਾ ਥਾਣੇ ਦੀ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਬਾਬਾ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਪਾਠ ਸੁਣਾ ਰਹੇ ਨੂੰ ਦਮਦਮੀ ਟਕਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਬੱਸ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਹਰਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੂੰ ਲਾਹ ਲਿਆ। ਮਹਿਤਾ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਹਰਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਠੱਕਰ ਸੰਧੂ ਨੂੰ ਧਾਰੀਵਾਲ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦੇ ਹਵਾਲੇ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ । ਭਾਈ ਹਰਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਉੱਤੇ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਖਾੜਕੂ ਸਿੰਘਾਂ ਦਾ ਭੇਤ ਲੈਣ ਲਈ ਬੇਹੱਦ ਤਸ਼ੱਦਦ ਕੀਤਾ । ਜਦੋਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦੇ ਅਫਸਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਦਰਿੰਦਗੀ ਦੇ ਹਥਿਆਰ ਭਾਈ ਹਰਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੇ ਸਿਦਕ ਅੱਗੇ ਫ਼ੇਲ੍ਹ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਤਾਂ ਧਾਰੀਵਾਲ ਥਾਣੇ ਦੇ ਸਵਰਨ ਸਿਹੁੰ ਐੱਸ.ਐੱਚ.ਓ. ਨੇ 24 ਜਨਵਰੀ 1993 ਨੂੰ ਝੂਠੇ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਵਿਚ ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
ਪੁਲਿਸ ਪ੍ਰਾਪੇਗੰਡਾ
ਜੋ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਹਰਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਠੱਕਰ ਸੰਧੂ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ‘ਚ ਮਾਰੇ ਜਾਣ ਦੀ ਕਹਾਣੀ ਅਖ਼ਬਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੀ, ਉਹ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ :
ਇਕ ਖਾੜਕੂ ਹਲਾਕ ਹੋਮਗਾਰਡ ਫੱਟੜ : ਜਲੰਧਰ 25 ਜਨਵਰੀ 1993 (ਏਜੰਸੀਆਂ ਤੇ ਪੱਤਰ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਕਾਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ) ਪਿਛਲੇ 24 ਘੰਟਿਆਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿਚ ਇਕ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਇਕ ਖਾੜਕੂ ਹਲਾਕ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਜਦ ਕਿ ਇਕ ਹੋਮ ਗਾਰਡ ਜਵਾਨ ਫੱਟੜ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ।
ਖਾੜਕੂ ਹਲਾਕ–ਗੁਰਦਾਸਪੁਰ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਦੇ ਕਸਬਾ ਧਾਰੀਵਾਲ ਦੇ ਲਾਗੇ ਖ਼ਾਲਿਸਤਾਨ ਲਿਬਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਆਰਮੀ ਦਾ ਇਕ ਖਾੜਕੂ ਹਰਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਜਿੰਦਾ ਉਦੋਂ ਹਲਾਕ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਜਦੋਂ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਹਥਿਆਰ ਬਰਾਮਦੀ ਲਈ ਲਿਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਸੀ। ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦੇ ਦੱਸਣ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਹਰਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਜਿੰਦਾ ਖਾੜਕੂਆਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਮਲੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਹਲਾਕ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ। ਉਹ ਉਦੋਂ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਸਨੇ ਦੁਵੱਲੀ ਫਾਇਰਿੰਗ (ਗੋਲੀ) ਦੇ ਭੰਬਲਭੂਸੇ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਬਚ ਕੇ ਨਿਕਲਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ। ਪੀ.ਟੀ.ਆਈ. ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਜਿੰਦਾ ਖ਼ਾਲਿਸਤਾਨ ਲਿਬਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਆਰਮੀ ਦਾ ਲੈਫਟੀਨੈਂਟ ਜਨਰਲ ਸੀ। ਉਹ ਬਾਬਾ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਦਾ ਅੰਗ ਰਖਿਅਕ ਵੀ ਰਿਹਾ । ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਸਦੀ 50 ਕਤਲ ਕੇਸਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਭਾਲ ਸੀ। ਪੁਲਿਸ ਸਮਝਦੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਖ਼ਾਲਿਸਤਾਨ ਲਿਬਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਆਰਮੀ ਦੇ ਮੁਖੀ ਨੇ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਗਣਤੰਤਰ ਦਿਵਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਬੰਬ ਧਮਾਕੇ ਕਰਨ ਦੀਆਂ ਹਦਾਇਤਾਂ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਸਨ। ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਪੰਥਕ ਕਮੇਟੀ (ਜਫਰਵਾਲ) ਦੇ ਹਥਿਆਰ ਇਕ ਤੋਂ ਦੂਜੀ ਥਾਂ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਵੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਸੀ।
ਹੋਈ ਨਾ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਤੋਂ ਸ਼ਾਬਾਸ਼ ਦੋ ਹੱਕਦਾਰ
50 ਕੇਸਾਂ ‘ਚ ਲੋੜੀਂਦੇ ਖਾੜਕੂ ਦਾ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਉਸਨੇ 2 ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਹੀ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਜੇ ਕੇਸ ਦਰਜ ਕਰਕੇ ਜੇਲ੍ਹ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ, ਪਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਿੰਦੁਸਤਾਨ ਦੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਦਾਲਤ ‘ਚ ਪੇਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਭੁਗਤਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਵਖਤ ਪਿਆ ਰਹਿਣਾ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਹਿੰਦੁਸਤਾਨ ਦੇ ਕਾਨੂੰਨ ਵਿਚ ਕਿਹੜਾ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਨਸਾਫ਼ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ। ਜਿਥੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੇਸ ਝੂਠੇ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਰੱਕੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਨਿਵਾਜਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੁਣ ਫਿਰ ਭਾਈ ਹਰਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਜਿੰਦਾ ਠੱਕਰ ਸੰਧੂ ਨੂੰ ਖ਼ਤਮ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦਾ ਤਰੱਕੀ ਦੇਣ ਦਾ ਫਰਜ਼ ਬਣਦਾ ਹੀ ਹੈ ਨਾ?
ਭਾਈ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੀ ਅੰਤਿਮ ਅਰਦਾਸ ਲਈ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਖੰਡ ਪਾਠ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਭੋਗ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਗੁਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਮਹਿਤਾ ਵਿਖੇ ਪਾਏ ਗਏ, ਸੰਗਤ ਨੇ ਵੱਡੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵਿਚ ਹਾਜ਼ਰੀ ਭਰੀ।
